I ordered these directly from the AtomixAuto for my 03 Honda Pilot.Sorry AMZN but, I found a promo code online and it ended being less expensive.Maybe it is clear to others but it wasn't to me: these are not made by Honda. They are knockoffs made by a company called Buffalo. As far as I can tell these look just like the Honda factory crossbars except the ends of the bars that attach to the rails must also be screwed to the crossbars themselves. I did not see this step in the install directions for the Honda made bars.Speaking of instructions...Of course, these came with their own set of installation directions. However, I recommend you find the directions for installing the Honda made crossbars online. The instructions that come with these bars are a bit lacking. They leave out the fact that the railings on the Pilot need to be removed and that removal will require having a couple different size Torx wrenches. The railings need to be removed so that the four supports for the bars can "slide" in to the railing's groove. Now both these instructions and the Honda made instructions both say "slide".However, there was no sliding whatsoever with the four holders I got.As a matter of fact I had to take the rails off the roof and use a hammer to move the holders in to place.I haven't installed a set of these before so I am not sure if this is what they mean by "slide" or just a really tight fit.Don't know if the crossbar holders made by Honda would slide in smoother.I have not noticed any wind noise since installing them. One thing about these that I didn't think about until I installed them is that the bars are bowed so things may not sit exactly flat.Maybe not a big deal for sporting gear but, if I wanted to tie down a 4x8 sheet of wood from the lumber yard it wouldn't be able to sit flat.Thule or Yakima bars (both expensive add ons after you get the attachments for the crossbars) would allow a flat top.I'm getting either a Thule or Yakima cargo box to throw on top later this month.I'll update if there is anything noteworthy.Maybe even bump the stars up or (hopefully not) down...

Update (4/18):Got the Yakima RocketBox11 to throw on top of the Pilot.Box fits on the bars fine.No problems putting on and no noise when driving. The one problem is that even with the cross bars moved all the way to the front the box is so long that it gets in the way of the rear hatch. Not the fault of these particular bars.Shorter box or anything else should be fine.To move the crossbars I had to take off the bars and bring out the hammer to tap the tabs forward.I contacted the manufacturer about the fit of the tabs and they say the design is to be very tight.Poor design on Honda's part.
The bars are fine as they match Honda's design well, they don't make noise when driving, seem to be built well, and look nice.4 stars for these bars. The problem is a Honda design issue.I don't like how difficult it is to move the bars and really wish they could be moved further forward.2 stars for the Honda design.
