(More customer reviews)save your money a buy a good speaker. this one worked for less than 900 miles in my car. i don't listen to rap or techno, so theres no excuse for this to happen. i had all of my equipment professionally installed too so i know its not from something i did. it's just a piece and if youre going to spend the money, save a litle more and buy a speaker that will last. the speaker people i talked to said a good speaker should cost at least 90-120 US dollars.

Product Description:
Bump up the bass in your car with this 10-inch Dual DS10 subwoofer, which can handle up to 150 watts of RMS power (425 watts of peak power). It features a red polypropylene cone, rubber surround, black stamped-steel basket, and a rubber magnet boot. Thanks to its Mid-Q design, you can use a ported or sealed box.
Tech Talk RMS versus Peak Power: Peak power is measured by a brief musical burst (such as a crashing cymbal) and refers to the maximum amount of power that a device can produce from such a burst. However, a more reliable specification is RMS (root square mean) power, which measures the maximum continuous power that an audio device can produce. With a higher RMS figure, your music will sound cleaner as well as louder.
