(More customer reviews)I am genuinely pleased with this. It is a 28mm threaded plug that replaced my drain plug on my D series 90 civic. I believe I used a 27mm socket to tighten it.
My intent in purchasing this was for greater fuel economy in the winter. I plugged this in with a timer to come on 2 hours before work. I think I figured it out to cost approx $.06/ operating hour.
When I start the car the temp gauge is still buried in the "C" but will start to climb to normal operating temps within 2-3 minutes. I kind of wish I bought a tank style heater to get it a little warmer, but this is such an easy install and won't take up any extra space in the cramped civic bay.
